The Don Amott caravan family now spans three generations and still upholds the standards and values set by its founder, Don Amott senior, 44 years ago. The business is based on a simple philosophy - to offer excellent quality, the lowest possible prices and above all - make your customers your friends.

The company was founded by Don Amott senior in 1963 who progressed from hiring out holiday homes on the east Coast of England to selling new and used tourers and holiday caravans.

On leaving school in 1965, Don Amott junior joined the company and took over the reins when his father died in 1975.

Don, who is also a Director of Derby County football club and Chairman of Derbyshire County Cricket Club is President of the Company and works alongside Managing Director, Tony Weavers.

More than 200 full and part time staff work for the business at the showground, holiday and residential parks, and many have been with the firm for more than 25 years and are familiar faces to long-standing customers.
